My goal is to train you on the challenges that contemporary family systems face and how their differences interfere with attachment, communication with their family, and moving toward a safe relationship for all members of the family. There are essential tools that you can use to help these families move forward and work through their challenges.
Countertransference is most dangerous for your clients when 1) you have your own family trauma and 2) you have not been trained on how divorce impacts the family system and how to identify generational trauma from this lens.

Stepfamily Training for the Counselor and their Partner!
The intensive training at the Healing Story Ranch is designed to help you get the most out of the training. Instead of going back to the hustle of your daily life, you can absorb what you learn, relax, and commune with others with the same passions as you.
The intensive training includes 3 days /2 nights at The Healing Story Ranch. The Ranch is located in Emmett Idaho about 45 minutes from Boise. Your meals and overnight accommodations are included in this INTENSIVE training that leads to you becoming a Trained in Contemporary Family Systems and HELPS YOUR OWN FAMILY!
This training is aimed at healing the counselor, countertransference awareness and learning the theoretical framework to heal your clients. It is a 3 for 1!
